S’mores Martini

I bought a bottle of fluffed marshmallow vodka a few weeks ago without knowing what to do with it. After posting a picture of the vodka on our Facebook page a friend mentioned a S’mores Martini they had tried. So of course, we had to come up with our own S’mores Martini recipe.

The first thing I started with was the vodka for the marshmallow flavor. If you’re reading this around Easter time, also check out the Peeps Martini which has the same vodka.

Next up was the chocolate. I went with Godiva chocolate liqueur because it’s creamy like a milk chocolate bar. It’s also really good in the Peppermint Mocha Martini, in case you were wondering.

Finally, no s’mores treat or S’mores Martini is complete without graham cracker. I could have found a booze that had a similar taste to a graham cracker but I didn’t want to do that. Instead, I went with a graham cracker rim for the drink. It just seemed more fun, you know.

For rimming the glass, I used the vodka around the edges before dipping the graham crackers because it’s what I had on hand. The graham crackers didn’t stick as well so I suggest using something like marshmallow fluff or chocolate syrup if you have it.

S’mores Martini

4 ounces Smirnoff fluffed marshmallow vodka

4 ounces Godiva chocolate liqueur

1 graham cracker for rimming glass

Marshmallow fluff, chocolate  syrup or something else sticky for rimming glass.

Marshmallows and cinnamon for garnish

Place the graham cracker in a Ziploc bag and crush to small pieces. .

Pour the crushed graham crackers out onto a plate.

Rim martini glasses with either fluffed marshmallow vodka, marshmallow fluff or chocolate syrup and dip into the crushed graham crackers.

Pour the fluffed marshmallow vodka and Godiva chocolate liqueur into a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake and strain into the graham cracker rimmed martini glasses.

Sprinkle a light dusting of cinnamon on top and garnish with a marshmallow (preferably toasted to get that campfire feel).

Makes two martinis.

Feel free to also eat a s’mores while drinking your martini.

Love this! What a great idea, I’ve had a key lime pie martini but never a s’mores! Can’t wait to try it Jessica. 🙂
