A collection of cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day

With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, it’s a good time to start thinking about libations. As usual, we have rounded up some recipes from various places for you to try. This collection of cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day features everything from vodka to Irish whiskey, so hopefully everyone will find something they like to drink.

Cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day

No 1. CoolerNo. 1 Cooler

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1.3 ounces. George Dickel No. 1
  • 3/4 ounce Lime Juice
  • 3.4 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 3 Slices of Cucumbers
  • 6 Mint leaves
  • Pinch of Salt

Directions:

  1.  Build in a shaker and serve in a rocks glass.
  2. Garnish with cucumbers and mint leaves.

Bulliet Rye SmashBulleit rye smash

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1.3 oz Bulleit Rye Whiskey
  • 2 to 3 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 3/4 ounce Stirrings Simple Syrup
  • 1 ounce water

Directions:

  1.  In a shaker, muddle the mint, lemon, simple syrup and water.
  2. Add the rye and fill with ice.
  3. Shake, and strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Gold Rushgold rush cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/4 ounces Crown Royal
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce Honey Syrup
  • 1 dash Bitters

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients in a shaker and strain into a chilled rocks glass.
  2. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut
  • 4 ounces Blue Curacao
  • 8 ounces Pineapple Juice

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in glass over ice and stir.
  2. Enjoy with your three lucky friends.

Sweet Irish ShooterSweet Irish Shooter

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Pinnacle® Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 part Irish Cream

Directions:

  1. Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass.

Luck o’ the IrishLuck o' the Irish

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Pinnacle® Salted Caramel
  • 1 part Irish Cream Liqueur

Directions:

  1. Layer chilled spirits in order in a shot glass.

Shamrock Shakershamrock shaker

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 part Pinnacle® Marshmallow Vodka
  • 1 part Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
  • .5 part DeKuyper® Green Crème de Menthe Liqueur
  • 1 part Half & Half
  1. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  2. Garnish with a cherry.

Cruzan® Good Luck PunchCruzan_Good Luck Punch

Serves 10
Ingredients:

  • 1 750ml Bottle Cruzan® Strawberry Rum
  • 24 parts Ginger Ale
  • 6 parts Fresh Lime Juice
  • 6 Rosemary Sprigs, Rosemary Ice Blocks (see additional recipe below)

Directions:

  1. To Prep: Pour rum into a punchbowl and add 4 sprigs of rosemary. Give it a quick stir, making sure to fully immerse the rosemary. Let the mixture sit for one hour at room temperature. After one hour, remove the sprigs of rosemary from the bowl and discard them. Next, add the lime juice to the rosemary-infused rum and chill in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
  2. To Serve: Add rosemary ice block and ginger ale to your rum punch mixture and you’re ready to go! Serve over ice in a punch glass. Garnish with a small piece of rosemary sprig.
  3. Rosemary Ice Blocks: Fill a couple of round plastic containers with water and a couple rosemary sprigs and put it in the freezer. When serving your punch, float the ice blocks in the punch bowl.

The ShamROCKThe ShamROCK

Serves 1

Ingredient:

  • 2 parts UV Apple vodka
  • 1 part butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 part Hot cinnamon flavored whiskey

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir and serve in a cocktail glass.

Bagpiper’s Blue BrewThe Bagpipers Brew

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts UV Blue vodka
  • 2 parts pineapple juice
  • 1 splash of grenadine

Directions:

  1. Serve over ice in a highball glass.

The Dublin Sidedublin side cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 ounces Celtic Honey Liqueur
  • 1 ounce Gin
  • 1/2 ounce Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Agave nectar
  • Handful of mint leaves

Directions:

  1. Shake ingredients very well with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass or over ice into a rocks glass.
  2. Garnish with a mint sprig.

The Abbey Spritzerabbey spritzer cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Celtic Honey Liqueur
  • 1 ounce Aperol
  • 3/4 ounce Fresh lemon juice
  • Soda water or seltzer

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients except soda in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well chilled and strain into an Old Fashioned or rocks glass over fresh ice.
  3. Top with club soda.
  4. Garnish with lemon wedge and rosemary.

The Deciding Punchdeciding punch

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups Clontarf 1014 Irish Whiskey
  • 8 cups Apple cider
  • 750 ml Bottle of dry hard cider
  • 36 ounces Gosling’s Ginger Beer
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Several dashes orange bitters

Directions:

  1. Combine the ciders, ginger beer, whiskey, lemon juice, and bitters in a large punch bowl or pitcher.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Top with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  4. Ladle into ice-filled punch glasses garnished with a slice of apple.

Tip: to keep the punch cool without diluting with too much melted ice, freeze water in a small bowl to use as one large ice boulder in the punch.

Fizzy Patrickfizzy patrick cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Three Olives Dude Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 2 ounces ginger beer
  • Dash agave nectar syrup
  • Handful fresh mint

Directions:

  1. Muddle mint in a shaker.
  2. Fill shaker with ice and combine vodka, lime juice and agave. Shake vigorously.
  3. Pour into a Collins glass and top off with ginger beer.

Who’s Your Paddy?Who's Your Paddy cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Three Olives Cherry Vodka
  • 3/4 ounce orange curacao
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 ounce Club soda

Directions:

  1. Combine vodka, orange curacao and lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
  2. Pour into a chilled Collins glass.
  3. Top with club soda.
