My Darling Clementine Martini

Given that our site is called One Martini at a Time we couldn’t leave you with just a recipe for Clementine Margaritas. No, we HAD to create a clementine martini with these sweet fruits while they are still in season.

To keep with the citrus theme of the main ingredient (the clementines) I used lemon infused vodka. I first used the lemon infused vodka in a lemon basil cocktail. It’s really easy to make but it does take a few days to infuse so you have to get it started early.

If you don’t feel like making your own, you could use Ketel One Citroen instead. Or any other brand of lemon vodka that you enjoy.

To really bump up the citrus, triple sec is also added to this clementine martini. It’s like a trifecta of citrus.

Of course, it needs a sugar rim and a slice of clementine for garnish. Once it’s finished it’s almost so pretty you don’t want to drink it.

I said almost.

I would hate to think of anyone wasting a good martini.

That would just be wrong. So very wrong.

Clementine Martini {with lemon infused vodka}

Ingredients

3 fresh squeezed clementines

1 1/2 ounces lemon infused vodka

1 ounce Triple Sec

Sugar for rimming glass

Garnish with clementine wheel

Preparation

Rim martini glass with clementine and then dip in sugar.

Combine freshly squeezed clementines, vodka and triple sec into a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake and strain into the sugar rimmed martini glass.

Garnish with a clementine wheel.

Makes 1 martini but you’ll want more. I promise.

For another really tasty clementine cocktail, check out the clementine gin cocktail.

Cheers!

You’re welcome! Glad you like it. The clementine cocktails are some of my favorites because they are so beautiful with the orange color.
