Get Stung with these 3 Cinnamon Infused Tequila Cocktails

Jose Cuervo Cinge, is the latest tequila release from Cuervo and we got our hands on a bottle so we could tell you all about it. It’s a cinnamon infused tequila made with their Especial silver tequila. Think of it as tequila with a kick, or a sting as they are implying with the mascot of the Mexican scorpion. While it can be consumed as a shot or mixed with soda, we prefer our booze in cocktail form so we came up with these three cinnamon infused tequila cocktails. Go ahead, try them out… See if you can handle the sting.

Before you check out these cinnamon infused tequila cocktails, let’s first talk a little bit about Jose Cuervo Cinge. As I mentioned already, it’s a cinnamon infused tequila. Since it’s made with their Especial silver, it is a mixto tequila and is bottled at 70 proof. It’s hitting shelves this fall and should retail for $17.99 for a 750 ml bottle. There are other cinnamon tequilas out there already so I think Cinge is going to compete with those as well as with Fireball cinnamon whiskey.

It’s clear in color and it smells like cinnamon with sweet and spicy notes. For the taste, it reminds me of Big Red Gum. I get some agave notes along with sweet and spicy cinnamon. I don’t think it’s overpowering in spiciness but then again, I can handle pineapple habanero infused tequila and Thai chili infused tequila. My husband actually wanted more of a sting with it so he infused a little bit of Cinge with a ghost pepper. Yeah, he’s crazy like that. Anyway, here are the cinnamon infused tequila cocktails as promised. Enjoy!

Absolutely the best cinamon infused liquor I have tasted from start to finish. My favorite is 1-1 cringe and especial. I recommend this to all.
