Booze, ice cream and soda. If that’s not a perfect combination for summer, I don’t know what is. Not only are these three ingredients super easy to put together, they also hit the spot when the sun is scorching. Do yourself a favor and grab a pint of ice cream and fix yourself this bourbon ice cream float. Now.
While I love a good boozy milkshake, it’s sometimes just a little too much work. You have to get out the blender, put everything in there, press start, pour, rinse…. So much work when it’s hot and all you want is something icy cold. Fortunately, that’s where this bourbon ice cream float comes in. Pour the bourbon in the glass. Scoop the ice cream in the glass. Top it with soda. Enjoy. Very little effort for your boozy treat.
For this particular bourbon ice cream float, I went with coffee ice cream and cream soda. There are countless other variations I could have done (and still can do), but I liked how this one came together. Plus, it fits perfect with in this roundup of ice cream cocktails over at ClintonKelly.com.
