Best Chocolate Chip Brownies with Kahlua {Homemade}

It’s no secret we love booze here at One Martini. We’ve proved it over and over again with our many cocktail recipes and spirit reviews. Now time for us to expand into the world of desserts. Boozy desserts, to be exact. Like these best chocolate chip brownies with Kahlua.

Kahlua is a rum and coffee liqueur that has appeared in both the Espresso Martini and the Irish Russian Cocktail. It’s also commonly used in Black Russians and White Russians.

But it’s good for more than just drinking in cocktails.

Combined with dark chocolate and chocolate chips, it makes these mouthwatering brownies.

And believe me, they are mouthwatering. I may or may not have eaten a whole tray by myself the first time I made them.

I mean, I can’t share with the kids because of the Kahlua, right?

Okay, technically the booze is baked out so you could share if you so desired. But why would you want to share these best chocolate chip brownies?

Psst… if you really don’t want to share make some homemade whipped cream and add 1/2 to 1 ounce of Kahlua in it. You can put that on the top of the brownies before eating. Then the kids really can’t have any.
